Alejandro Peña Esclusa
Writer, geopolitical analyst, and international advisor
Venezuelan engineer Alejandro Peña Esclusa is a writer, geopolitical analyst, and international advisor. For more than three decades, he has studied and engaged with one of the most influential political movements in Latin America: the expansion of the São Paulo Forum and what is known as “21st-Century Socialism.”
His work combines three dimensions rarely found in a single person: strategic research, direct experience in political struggle, and an extensive body of intellectual work. This combination has allowed him to develop a comprehensive vision of the region that transcends traditional academic analysis.
He is the author of ten books on democracy, geopolitics, the culture war, and political developments in Latin America, several of which have been published in various languages. His articles appear regularly in specialized international media, and his analyses have been published in Europe and the Americas, establishing him as one of the most recognized voices on Ibero-American political evolution and new forms of authoritarianism linked to organized crime.
